Kristi Damron

Trained at Florida State University, she graduated suma cum laude with her Master's of Social Work degree in 2015 and completed internships at a residential substance abuse facility for juveniles and on a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) at the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Kristi has worked with juveniles and their families in the criminal justice system as a Juvenile Probation Officer, as a Master Adjudicator assisting individuals applying for Social Security Disability, and served as a Social Service Director helping aging adults in long-term care. Her last role before opening Damron Counseling, was as a Baker Act Coordinator for individuals in crisis on a Behavioral Health Unit. She's earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Vocational Rehabilitation and has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Big Bend area since October 2018.
