Hope Hahn Smith

Hope Hahn Smith is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. She earned her Master of Social Work from Florida State University, graduating with honors, after beginning her career in social services several years earlier.

Throughout her career, Hope has worked alongside people facing a wide range of experiences, including trauma, domestic violence, addiction, housing instability, incarceration, refugee resettlement, developmental disabilities, and severe mental health concerns. She currently provides behavioral health services to incarcerated individuals and has experience delivering crisis intervention, suicide prevention, individual and group therapy, and comprehensive mental health assessments. She also provides virtual therapy to individuals experiencing high-acuity mental health needs, utilizing measurement-based care and collaborative treatment planning.

Hope believes that every person possesses inherent strengths and resilience, even during life's most difficult seasons. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed, emphasizing each client's unique experiences, values, and goals. She strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to build meaningful, lasting change.

Hope enjoys working with adults from diverse backgrounds and has experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, identity concerns, psychosis, and life transitions. Whether someone is seeking support through a crisis or working toward long-term personal growth, Hope is committed to helping them develop practical tools, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
