Carrie Thornal

Carrie is a University of South Carolina graduate with a bachelors in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work. She has always had a passion for helping others and believes that therapy gives individuals the tools and confidence to take charge of their own life. Carrie believes that changing the way we think about situations can promote growth.

She has spent the last six years working with oncology patients and their families. Carrie has enjoyed helping patients living with chronic illnesses on their journey through grief and loss. Her goal is to help people living with long term illnesses not to feel alone in their suffering and help them to gain back some of their control that the disease has taken from them. Her diverse background with children with disabilities, clients struggling with substance use, veterans in the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder clinic and individuals in an inpatient setting will be beneficial in addressing many needs.
