Amanda Parparian
Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC)
Amanda uses art therapy, person-centered, and narrative approaches to support children, adolescents, and adults who struggle to put words to their inner experiences. She believes that sometimes it is easier to show than to say, and integrates image-making, symbolism, and tactile processes to help clients better understand and regulate their thoughts and emotions.
She specializes in working with clients who feel stuck in traditional talk therapy and those who struggle to translate their inner experiences into words. Her approach is neurodivergent-affirming and strengths-based, honoring diverse ways of thinking and processing. Amanda often incorporates sensory-based art, storytelling, and fiber techniques to support nervous system regulation and identity exploration.
Amanda provides a collaborative, respectful environment where clients can explore identity, build regulation skills, and grow in self-understanding.
